…enabling access to a fuller life… Scottish Executive Urban Transport Pilot Project Recently, the Scottish Executive announced a pilot project for urban community transport. In conjunction with the City of Edinburgh, SEAG and 3 other voluntary sector community transport operators put in a proposal to expand wheelchair accessible community transport within the city. With the Council’s support we were successful and can now offer a 7 seater, wheelchair accessible vehicle to groups of any age. The funding for this project will continue until March 2006. So, whether it is for going to the theatre or a rock concert or just a trip out to the countryside, if your group needs some transport contact us. |
