| Founded
in Edinburgh in 1982 by local people concerned about the isolation of
the elderly, the disabled and the mentally ill within the community,
SEAG provides accessible, affordable, specially adapted transport to
give them the mobility needed to participate in the wide range of community
activities and social interests which most of us take for granted. Recently,
we received funding from the Scottish Executive in a pilot project to
expand part of our operations to include all community groups who need
transport. We provide easy access 7 to 16 seater vehicles with a driver to groups who register with us. In the interests of safety, we ask that all groups provide a passenger assistant to accompany them on their journeys. Our carefully chosen drivers all have specialist driving training (MiDAS) as well as First Aid and Manual Handling Certification. Our aim is to provide your group with the highest standard of safe, accessible, affordable, door-to-door transport. |
